| Ingredients: |
1lb bread flour
1 sachet dried yeast
1 tsp salt
2 fl oz olive oil
8 fl oz liquid (1 egg, some tomato puree, plus water)

| Method: |
Use a bread machine to do the
hard work. Put all ingredients in the machine
and put it on the dough setting.
Pre heat oven to gas mark 6. Cut the dough into two pieces. Flatten the
dough into a thin, flat round and place on a floured baking tray, leave
to rise for 30 minutes, whilst you assemble the topping ingredients and
cook for about 20 minutes.

| Variations: |
Use wholemeal and white flour
in variable proportions; just make sure they
add up to 1 lb in total. If using predominatley
wholemeal flour add a llittle more water and
leave to rise a little longer.
Add black pepper.
Use as a base for garlic bread. |
