Fried Camembert Serves 4 Vegan? No
Ingredients:

1 pack of Camembert, cut into 8 wedges
stale/dried bread
1 egg
vegetable oil
green salad and vinegarette

Method:

Make bread crumbs from stale bread pieces dried at the bottom of the oven: use a food processor or bash in a poly bag with a rolling pin
Beat the egg;
Dip each piece of cheese in the egg, and then the bread crumbs and repeat the process so that they are well covered;
Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the pieces, turning to that each side is golden brown.

Variations:

Get a helper to do the egg/bread crumbs production line, which can get a bit messy

Serve:
Serve as a starter with chutney or cranberry jam and a garnish of green salad and vinigrette.
Alternatively use as a meat altenative in a sunday roast lunch.
