Garlic mushrooms
Vegan? Yes
Ingredients:

Mushrooms
garlic cloves
vegetable oil
water
wine
fresh flat leaf parsley, or fresh or dried oregano

Method:

Chop the mushrooms into bite sized pieces, or keep whole if small enough
Heat the oil in the pan (or half oil, half butter) to a medium temperature
Add the garlic, finely chopped (and dried herbs if not using fresh herbs);
Add the mushrooms and a dash of cold water and/or a dash of the wine you will have with the meal;
Add finely chopped fresh herbs;
Fry until starting to brown

Variations:

Do not over-heat the oil/butter;
Try without the garlic and wine as part of a veggie cooked breakfast

Serve:
Serve as a starter or as an accompaniment to a pasta dish
